The Production Planner is responsible for the scheduling of raw materials from various suppliers to the manufacturing factory, as well as assisting in the development of production schedules. Work actively to manage the company's potential exposure to excess and obsolete inventory.

Shift and Schedule
This position will be a full time permanent position working on the 1st shift. The hours for the 1st shift will be from 7:
00am until 4:
00pm Monday through Friday. Flexible to work overtime and weekends as scheduled.
Position Responsibilities
Utilize sales forecasts, current inventory, manufacturing constraints, requests and promotional requirements to create detailed production schedules by production line for all finished goods.
Ensure adherence to production schedules to meet customers demand.
Manage inventories-raw materials, packaging and finished goods. Determines appropriate inventory required to meet distribution and sales needs.
Work with inbound logistics to ensure timely receipt of raw materials for production of finished product.
Purchase of all raw materials for production in line with demand for finish goods sales and safety stock targets.
Manage production scheduling and raws/finished goods inventory.
Cross train in Inventory Control Supervisor and Material Control Manager's roles.

Qualifications
Minimum of an Associate's Degree, but Bachelor's Degree is preferred
3 years of experience in supply planning or inventory for a manufacturing organization
3 years of experience with SAP
3 years of experience with Excel utilizing advanced functionality with thorough understanding of underlying logic
