Rn Clin Educator Generalist
The Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse works under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Services Director.
Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of cardiac rehabilitation.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO Must be able to work independently with proven organizational leadership skills.
Verbal ability is necessary to present ideas and subject matter, to express clearly new ideas and techniques, to understand medical terminology and to compile written records.
Utilizes adult learning theory.
Clerical perception is necessary to organize materials for program content.
Marketing and Human Relations skills required.
Keeps equipment and supplies safe for use and in working order.
Performs other duties and special projects as required and approved by Program Director.
Attends required training and continuing education as evidenced by attendance forms that will be added to personnel file.
Completes all competency requirements as evidenced by completion forms, these will be completed annually or per hospital requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Ability to organize, coordinate and evaluate activity program for patient population.
EDUCATION Bachelor degree required, Masters preferred BCLS, ACLS required.
EXPERIENCE Requires up to two years of experience as professional nurse in which potential supervisory competence has been demonstrated.
Two years of coronary care experience preferred Must be able to work independently with proven organizational leadership skills.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE Registered Nurse with current license in the State of Iowa Recommended Skills Adult Education Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Certified Nurse Practitioner Leadership Medical Terminology Self Motivation Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
