HR Generalist Full Time Days

Coordinate and lead the new hire on-boarding process including the General Hospital Orientation (GHO) Respond to high volume of phone calls and e-mails on HR questions in a timely and professional manner.
Able to answer HR questions and/or direct inquiries to appropriate staff for resolution.
Provide administrative support for the department, including but not limited to phone coverage, mail sorting and processing and other duties as needed Responsible for the verification of employment and maintaining confidentiality with outside callers.
Responsible for tracking and auditing new hire paperwork and pre-employment completion for compliance purposes Monitor, review and update documentation & HRIS systems to ensure employee licenses & certifications are in compliance Serve as the employee benefit and employee leave liaison (FMLA, Workman's Comp, OSHA, Benefits, etc.
) Maintain & audit employee files and records in electronic and paper form as required Ensures that personnel/contract staff files and I-9 forms are maintained in a compliant manner Work with payroll coordinator processing referral & sign-on bonuses, retro pay, pay changes & other various HR payroll related tasks as required by payroll deadlines Assist Education Coordinator and HR team in updating, auditing and maintaining the organization's education system and files as needed Assists in gathering responses for unemployment requests and may participate in hearings as needed.
Assists in gathering turnover data as needed.
Assists HR Director on updating and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and best practices as needed.
Other duties and projects as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Works independently with proven organizational skills and attention to detail Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks, and exercise sound judgment.
Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Ability to maintain a high level of sensitive, confidential HR data.
EDUCATION Minimum education:
High School diploma or equivalent College degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in Human Resources is preferred.
EXPERIENCE Minimum 2 years of related administrative experience.

years of Human Resources experience preferred Working knowledge of equal employment opportunity, Joint Commission, Compliance, and HIPAA preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
